There are several outlet complexes in Italy; amongst the most popular is Seravalle Outlet and Fox Town in Switzerland, about 45 minutes from Milan City Centre.
Serravalle Scrivia is in Province of Alexandria, about 1 and half hour drive from Milan. This is the largest and the first designer Outlet in Italy and also in Europe. It is 35,000 sqm with 180 shops and ample space for parking, estimated 3,000 parking spaces. The operation was officially starts in September 2000.
